"xDSL is the general term applied to a whole family of high-speed digital data products. The letters DSL stand for Digital Subscriber Line. The x is a place keeper for the term describing the type of DSL connection: A for Asymmetric, H for High Speed, I for ISDN, and S for Symmetric."

"An Xlet is a downloadable software component that is run by OCAP on an OpenCable host device. Each Xlet class must implement the Java Xlet interface, with its initialize, start, pause, and destroy methods. Xlets are the integral software applications of OCAP that make the television interactive. Xlets can implement EPGs, impulse shopping, and video games."
